Shou Wu Chih Raw Herb Kit

Shou Wu Chih is an herbal formula often used in traditional Chinese medicine for nourishing the liver and kidney. Reported benefits include the eye and tendon support, tonifying the liver, increasing energy levels, and replenishing hair color.

This kit includes pre-measured herbs and brewing instructions. We recommend brewing using a quart mason jar and Everclear.

Brewing instructions:

1. Empty contents of the bag into a mason jar (wide mouth is best).
2. Fill half of the jar with Everclear, then fill the rest of the way with water.
3. Shake well.
4. Let the raw herbs brew in the Everclear/water mixture for 7-10 days, shaking the jar every few days.
5. Once brewing is finished, you can either remove the herbs and discard or leave the herbs in the liquid (if you do this, the tincture will grow stronger over time).
6. Drink 1-2 tablespoons of the Shou Wu Chih tincture twice per day. You can choose between drinking it straight or diluting it in water or tea.
